Model 927 High-Concentration VOCs Dilution Sampler

The Model 927 is an innovative high-concentration VOCs sampler designed for use in harsh environments, including those with high temperatures, high humidity, high dust levels, and corrosive conditions. It employs a two-stage dilution process to reduce high-concentration VOC samples to lower concentrations before storing them in a canister. Compared to the traditional vacuum box and Tedlar bag sampling method, this approach overcomes the shortcomings of sampling bags, such as adsorption and permeability issues, and extends the sample storage time. The Model 927 is ideal for high-concentration VOCs sampling in industries such as petroleum refining, petrochemicals, coal chemicals, electronics, textile printing and dyeing, printing and packaging, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, coatings, artificial board manufacturing, storage tanks and pipelines, painting, and casting.

Features

● Superior Sample Integrity: Compared to traditional Tedlar bag methods, canisters exhibit extremely low adsorption and virtually no permeability. This minimizes the loss of sample concentration and provides a more accurate representation of the actual VOC emission levels.

● Two-Stage Dilution: The two-stage dilution system effectively mitigates problems associated with high temperature and humidity in the original sample. The dilution ratio is flexible and adjustable, preventing contamination of the sampling canister and allowing for repeated use.

● Integrated PID Detector: A built-in Photoionization Detector (PID) measures the VOC concentration after the first dilution stage. This data helps in setting the optimal dilution ratio for the second stage, ensuring the final sample concentration is within the ideal range for analysis.

● Simplified Sample Handling: For source emission sampling, Tedlar bag samples often require constant heating at 120°C from collection through analysis due to temperature and humidity effects. The Model 927's dilution process eliminates this requirement, simplifying the entire workflow from sampling and transportation to laboratory storage.

● Extended Sample Holding Time: Samples collected in canisters can be stored for up to one month, making this method highly suitable for large-scale sampling projects. In contrast, samples collected in Tedlar bags have a very short storage time.

● Broad Range of Target Compounds: Canisters are suitable for collecting over 100 different VOCs. In comparison, foil bags are best for halogenated hydrocarbons with boiling points below 60°C, while Tedlar bags are suitable for halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbons and benzene series with boiling points below 150°C, but not for halogenated aromatic hydrocarbons.

● Comprehensive Quality Assurance: The system includes a recovery rate testing function to verify and ensure the accuracy of the dilution process
